Finley Mynott

I’m doing an MS in Business Analytics at Georgetown, after a First in Geography at UCL. Alongside my degree I worked part-time at Cafepoint for three years. I ran its credit control, its move to a new ERP system and its weekly reporting. I also build software with AI coding agents.

Looking for analyst, strategy and AI governance roles from June 2027, in Washington DC, New York or London.

Facet

Game design is one of my personal passions, and that’s where Facet started. It’s a Mac app I designed for running AI coding agents on big projects, and it works on any kind of project, not just games. You break a project into parts, say what good looks like for each one, and Facet sends Claude or Codex off to improve them. Nothing changes until you’ve seen the before and after.

Build-Break-Balance

AI readiness rankings add everything into one score, so a country with lots of AI and weak rules can still come out on top. I built a measure that keeps those apart and published the results as an interactive atlas.

  • 74mark, a First
  • 48countries and the EU
  • 92policy documents scored

Cafepoint

Three years part-time at a London coffee equipment supplier while I did my degree. I started in credit control and ended up running the move to a new ERP system and the company’s weekly reporting.

  • 52 → 30debtor days
  • 60+people moved onto the new system

Do prediction markets overprice long shots?

I collected resolved markets from Kalshi and Polymarket and wrote down the test before I looked at any outcomes. The pilot was too small to answer it. Each group needed about 210 markets and had between 7 and 24, so the write-up works out how big the full study would need to be.

Every job posting in one database

Instead of searching job boards one at a time, I pulled 1,122,198 postings from 17,789 company job boards into one SQLite database with full-text search. Nothing gets filtered out on the way in, so I can change what I’m looking for without collecting it all again.
